ThisDay — Photo Memories
ThisDay collects nothing. Stores nothing. Sends nothing. Your photos and memories never leave your device.
ThisDay does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, photos, usage information, or analytics. There are no user accounts, no servers, and no third-party services involved in the operation of this app.
ThisDay requests access to your photo library so it can show you memories from this day in past years. All photo processing happens entirely on your device. Photos are never uploaded, never copied, and never shared with anyone — including us.
You can grant full access or limited access. Both work with the app. You can revoke access at any time through your iOS Settings.
If you enable daily reminders, ThisDay schedules a local notification on your device. No notification data is sent to a server. Notifications are managed entirely by iOS on your device.
ThisDay itself makes no network requests and contains no networking code. It has no servers, no APIs, and no backend.
If you use iCloud Photos with Optimize Storage, the full-resolution version of a photo may live in your iCloud rather than on your device. When you open such a photo in ThisDay, iOS downloads it from your own iCloud account on your behalf — the same way Apple's Photos app does. This traffic is between your device and Apple, never to ThisDay or any third party.
ThisDay does not use any third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, crash reporting services, or tracking frameworks.
ThisDay does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for users of any age.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here. Since the app collects no data, any future changes are unlikely to affect you in any meaningful way.
